I started making Easter Breads from around the world many years ago while living in South Dakota, and each year I find myself doing it again. It is lots of fun, as well as delicious.
This year I made only a few: Finnish Easter; English (Hot Cross Buns); Russian; Italian Easter Dove; and Swedish.
Served with lots of cheeses, turkey slices, turkey salad, lots of fruits, yogurt, deviled eggs, fresh spinach, and Easter cookies, too.
Italian Easter Dove in the forefront and the one right behind it is the Finnish Bread.
Brown eggs blown out and decorated with felt pens. The two larger eggs in the middle were purchased.
The weather was beautiful and we ate on the deck. Andy/Jonel and their friends Kelly/Mike, Freddie's mom and brother, too.
The children opted to eat inside...
